    I have been using Win ME for my operating system to make VCD'S I use Smart ripper, DVDTOAVI and TMPGE 12.i OR 2.0, If I upgrade to Windows XP will it affect what i am doing?

    I've been using XP Pro Final for 2 months now and I use all the programs that you mentioned and more and I havent had any problems whatsoever. In fact I think XP Final is more stable than any other OS I have used including W2K.

    I havent had any compatability problems or any blue screen of deaths.

    I think you'l' find you wont have any probs.

    Now you d'ont have more blue screens in WIN XP because the screens NOW are black!
