  1. Hi everyone...

    I got AVI file that shows a black screen (the audio plays fine) when I play it with WMP, though it plays fine with DivX player. I scanned it for errors, no errors. But when I open it with TMPGEnc and try to encode it, the video stauls on the 5 or 6th image. so I get to see the same image during the previewing the encoding, and the audio encodes fine...

    What's the problem ???

    DivX.....................Basically DivX is a play only format.

    To solve your problem:

    Load the file into VirtualDub and frameserve it to TMPGEnc.
    The guides section has a couple of guides on how to do this.
