  1. Now another problem.....Trying to encode AVI with TMPGEnc and now I end up with a vertically stretchened video...I see long faces, the video turns into 480X480.........Why ?????

    The AVI file plays good.....

    Aspect ratio incorrectly detecded or chosen. You can correct video settings. Check guides here and compare with your settings. If unsure try differnt ones by encoding 10 sec. video.
    Sorry, but AVI format has so many flavors now, that it says almost nothing.

    If you are making NTSC SVCD is 480x480 correct. Play with a real dvd/mpeg2/svcd player and it will stretch to correct aspect ratio(4:3), like PowerDVD or WinDVD.

    If that doesn't help you you have probably set the wrong source ratio in tmpgenc under settings->advanced.
