    After authoring a DVD in DVDLab the final DVD had no audio. I used a 25 fps avi converted to 23.976, pulled down, and an AC3 file from BeSweet covertedfrom 25 fps to 23.976 fps, 48kb. The final DVD is supposed to be in NTSC.
    The AUDIO_TS directory of the finished DVD was empty. DVDLab did not report any errors.
    Any suggestions what I did wrong?

    That all sounds correct, the AUDIO_TS directory should be empty. What make/model is your DVD player, some do not like Ac3 from besweet. Try authoring a DVD with PCM or mp2 audio to see if that helps.
