I want to purchase quality DVD-R for my recently purchased Optorite 0203. I bought 10 4X DVD-R's of Meritline media with my Optorite and it only burns at 2.4x. Perfect burns but I want to make sure my 25-50+ batch of media can do 4X safely. Im thinking of placing an order of bulk BeALL media since supposedly it is highly compatible, especially with my Xbox. Couple questions...

1. Will the BeAll burn at 4X reliable?

2. Whats difference between "Developers" BeAll media, can I order this type and still make DVD backups and data backups?

I also have a couple of question regarding CD-R's. I really want to take advantage of the HD-Burn feature on the Optorite. Also would like to get the most compatible CD-R's for standalone and car CD players.

1. Im thinking of buying Digital Audio 24X CD-R Discs 80Min/700MB (DA CDR Blank Media), will this media be good for CD music and software backups with high level of compatibility? Will this media be high enough quality for HD-Burn, 1.4gb on 1 CD?

2. How does this media differ(or why is it better and cost more?) from regular 40-52X CD-R media. I dont care as much for speed as high quality CD backups, so max 24X is ok with me.

I plan on buying at Meritline unless others can advise better sites.

Thx for your advice in advance!
