remove background noise

any one help me is there a way to make removing background noise off ac3 file manys thanks for any help

What sort of background noise do you mean?

What do you want to do with the ac3 file afterwards?

Do you want to keep it as an ac3?

As far as I'm aware, you'll have to convert it to PCM WAV to do any real editing on the file - you can then convert back to ac3 with something like BeSweet.

thanks for your reply the background noise is as you more than likey
no if you get svcds on dvd sometimes you get alot off backgrounde
noise alot off buzzing and hissing thanks for any advice you can give
me
