The registered version of ffmpegX 0.0.8 is able to do it. First check if your player is compatible with "VCD-DVD" by looking at the DVD players compatibility list.

Then put your VCD files in a folder, and use the "S/VCD > DVD" tool of ffmpegX 0.0.8 to automatically reauthor them as one DVD without re-encoding the video.

    Regards Barney.

Ok thanks guys I now have 8 Converted DVD files containing AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS in separate folders These total 3.8GB.

How do I set up menus etc to burn to one DVD-R disk?

Just burning them as they are in their 8 folders gives me an unreadble disk in my TV DVD player.

Each folder play perfectly in VLC and Computer DVD Player.

Thanks a million for your help so far
    Barney

  5. Keep the .m2v and .mp2 files for each segment and use Sizzle to combine them and add the menu.

Which exactly are the VCD files? I have to SVCDs here with three folders inside them. Is it enough to copy the MPEG2-files to one folder, or do I need more files?
