  1. Hello,

I used DVD2SVCD to rip a backup of my Braveheart 177 minutes. After using DVD2SVCD, I had the bitrate settings too high (900MB) for 3 cds. I need to somehow take the files I have, possibly using bbmpeg, and re-encode them to 3 cds, instead of the two I now have (that are too large).

Any help on this? I still have all original files from DVD2SVCD.

    Thanks.

Join the files, then cut to fit using the Mpeg Tools in TMPGEnc. There's a guide in the Edit section, over there <-<-<-.

  3. Ok, so I've went to the merge and cut section. I double-clicked on the first mpeg, selected a start and end point. I cut an hour out of it. There's only about 20 minutes left on the first mpeg. So do I need to make my 2nd and 3rd mpegs small, then join them, then make my 4th mpeg large (ending up being the 3rd, after the 2nd and 3rd smaller mpegs are joined to make the 2nd cd)? Also, how long does this take? It took about 14 hours for dvd2svcd to finish, being Braveheart is approximately 3 hours.

    Thanks for the speedy response.

  4. Let's try this again. I've merged both mpgs to one mpg. But when I try to cut the first hour out, it creates another mpg over 1.4GB. How is it taking a 1.5GB file, and creating the first hour of it over 1.4GB? What am I missing here?
