How do I get the MPEG file from VOB?? DVD2AVI generates a d2v file..i'd like to know how to get the MPEG file from the VOB's

Since a VOB is essentially an MPEG file, any program that demuxes the VOB into elementary streams should work.

TMPEG is also excellent for demuxing and remuxing vob files. Go to Mpeg Tools in the file menu and open.

It also depends what sort of MPEG you want - what's your overall aim?
MPEG is used in VCD (MPEG-1), SVCD & DVD (MPEG-2) and if you want to be pedantic, DivX etc.. is also MPEG (MPEG-4).
You'll have to be a bit more specific if you want specific help.
Also, there are dozens of guides about this in the guides section over on the left.
