i hope someone can help me out![]()
i've come across some .gi dvd images. i can't burn them because prassi/recordnow do not recognise my dvd-r/w drive (it's an lg gsa-4040b flashed with the newest firmware).
there are multiple files per image, and they look like this:
image (11).gi
image (12).gi
image.gi
how can i get them to a format (like .iso) so i can burn them? i have nero 6 and alcohol 120% ready to go!

you can use the new isobuster 1.5 to extact all the files and then burn the files.
or
rename all the .gi files like so input1.gi, input2.gi, input3.gi
and then use this dos command.
"copy /b input1.gi + input2.gi + input3.gi output.iso"
(not "quotation" marks)
make sure you dont combine the small .gi file (its kind of like a cue file) -
ahh, sweet, i'm going to give the copy thing a try... makes sense.
thanks!@$ToXiC -

thats pretty odd that your dvd burner isnt supported by RNM.. you're using version 4.5, right?
you might want to give recordnow max dx (i think its ver 4.6). the only place i've seen it is bundled with a sony dru500a.. -
Why don't you either:
a) burn them with DVD Decryptor, it's free and one of the best
b) jump into DOS and type this command:
copy /b file1.gi+file2.gi+file3.gi fulliso.iso
Don't include the tiny .gi file, and presto you have a nice ISO file that can be burned with almost anything, and can be mounted with Daemon Tools..
