Hi All,
I am trying to make a DVD5 from a double sided DVD. The disc I have has episodes on both sides of the disc, and for my back-up, I would like to rip the original and place all of the titles onto one DVD-R. I made an attempt to do this last night using DVDShrink and Nero. The quality is great but for some reason all the titles have been burnt as one title ie, no chapters. I thought that as there were eight seperate titles, each title would become a chapter and I could then skip from title to tile but, alas no. I have searched the forum for a guide but the only one I could find was for VCD. Could anyone give me some pointers or maybe point me in the direction of a guide should one exist.
Many Thanks For Your Time

Sounds more of an authoring problem to me....
I think I would rip each side to HD with DVDdecrypter in file mode and then use DVDshrink re- author to get the two sides together - shrink accordingly or leave on automatic.
Should work ! -
Many thanks for the info, I will give it a go tonight.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section but thought it was an authoring problem.
Many Thanks -
