  1. hello after reading about joining 2 avi's i have some problems doing this.

    i have 2 avi files Movie ( using gspot )
    1 = 565 mb and audio bitrate is 127 kb's
    2 = 490 mb and audio bitrate is 128 kb's

    wat i did is open vdub and set direct stream for video and full processing for audio and save both file as AVI and then join.

    the problem is when i join them the audio starts fine but around the middle of the movie starts to synch

    can anyone help me plz i been trying to do this for almost a week now with no luck

  2. I dont do it much so I can suggest two things... first try direct stream copy for the audio using VirtualDubMod. If that doesnt work than save your audio as wavs an put them into some audio editing software like goldwave or cooledit and rencode as mp3 and remux with video. But that's the long-sucky-and-may-not-work way!

  3. Try using Gspot Found in the tools section to rip the audio from each AVI There is a function in Gspot which allows you to open the Avi without demuxing the audio stream then save the audio as a single wav file. Once you have 2 saved wave files you can then reencode them as mp3 @ the same bit rate, sample rate etc which can also be done in Gspot. then open the 1st Avi file with V-dub, replace the audio files in your Avi's with the re-encoded audio files. if you get this part right you shouldn't have any problems.
    Try avoiding converting audio from Avi's directly to the same format i.e dont try MP3 to MP3 you should do MP3 to WAV then WAV to MP3 then add that stream to your movie, save each Avi with new audio streams then close and reopen V-Dub append the clips together then save as one Avi file.
    You shouldnt have to many problems
