Sorry if this has been covered, but what is the max capacity you can put on a SVCD DVD? It's not 4.4 which I thought was fine...

And is there a way that SVCD2DVD could tell me it won't fit BEFORE I tell it to create VTS's?

    Thanks.
    Love the program

Well it depends on your burning software and media. (you can put more on - media than +, i think i'm right in saying).

There is no point in SVCD2DVD stating the projected size of the DVD before it was created as it would be a total guess. Whilst the process is the same, dif mpeg structures result differently to the process.

The best thing is to aim for say 4.3GB (sum of your sources), load it up in your burning prog - if you need to reduce the size a bit, use dvd shrink, if not note how much space you got & add that to your initial "limit"

    Thanks.
I didn't realize that capacity was format dependent.

    Appreciate it
