    I would like to output DV to either USB or I-Link firewire port and send that to a recording device like camcorder or DVD recorder. Has anyone done this yet??? How??? what software, etc...

    Let me add more info. I want to be able to play AVI/MPEG, etc.
    so I guess I want to convert these to DV and send it to the USB or
    I-Link port to record on a DVD recorder that has DV Ilink input.
    Am I crazy, should I just use an Svideo out card on my PC? and just input that to the DVD recordedr??? I know that should work.
