!!!Problems with TMPGEnc !!!(Wont Let Me Open the Video)

Yoooooooo!! I'm usin' the TMPGEnc to convert it from DiVX but it keeps giving me an error message when I try to open my video source, I tried the things they suggested in the problems section but still no cigar,
Can someone tell how to do this or what, Your help would really be appreciated, I ve been tryin to figure this out all day, So please help and thanks in advanced

i think tmpgenc doesnt supprot divx try to convert it to a avi first

if the error message is saying the file is not supported, then you will need to up the priority for the avi file, this is what u do-

Go to option, then environmental setting, then go to the
VFAPI plugin

There are 3 available avi plugins, direct shoe avi VFW and AVI2

First try to boost the directshow up to priority of 4, if that doesnt work, put that priority back down to where it was then try another one of the 3 avi plugins by boosting it up to 4 and if that doesnt work, put that one back to normal then put last up to 4. when you boost each of these priorities up, hit ok then reimport the movie.
