  1. I have a divx video that will not convert. Video codec is Divx 5 and audio codec is AC3, I can watch the video fine, and the codecs are supported. When I try and convert with tmpge version 2.56, it starts and encodes about 1 min and the goes black for the rest. This video has been split to 2 cds and each are 715mb each, I have tried other encoders like winmpg, cce but none work, I have done a 100 or some movies before with no problems, but I am stumped, and help would be great, thanks.

  5. Thanks for the link, but I have already worked my way through the trouble shooting pages tmpgenc.

  6. bigdave77 i beleive it is your audio, tmpgenc dose not supprot ac3. you need to convert it to a wav file.

Can you convert the video only? Anything with AC3 and TMPBEnc isn't going to work.

Have you frameserved the video to TMPGEnc? Frameserving has always worked for me on those stickly files.

  8. Ok,

I am using Avisynthv106 for frame serving, now I am getting errors like crazy.

error - (DirectShowSource: I can't determine the frame rate of the video; you must use the "fps" parameter G:\cabin\cabin2.avs, line1 )

what the hell is this? and how do I fix it? all of the avisynth links for info are broken.

This movie file will only play on the divx player, not media player.

You could have at least listed your script. If you decide to do so, also list where you got the video from.
    Hello.

  10. I got the video from a news group and I don't know what you mean by script.
