  1. Hi there and thanks in advance for your help. Well my problem is i'm trying to copy svcd's , they are on 700 meg cdr's but show up as being over 800 meg, when i try to burn them onto the same size disk it says not enough space on disk !!!!

Is there an easy way to do this, some sort of programme? Have tried tuning nero to over burn but it's a no go, im getting very frustrated, and the wife is getting worried as i have threatened to go buy a dvd burner

Buy an oversized 90 min CD-R. In some drive it even can be overburned up to 99 min audio. Which will be about 904 MB or overburned even 993 MB instead of 803 MB of SVCD data. The tracks on those CD-Rs are narrower to each other. You still have to find out whether your player is capable to play these oversized CD-Rs.

  3. USE THE SAME SIZE CDR AND USE SOME SORT OF DIRECT DISC 2 DISC COPIER. Or you could use 90 or 99 min cdr. But if someone else fitted them on a std 80 min cdr then you can too!

What do you mean no go ? You can't enable or it still don't work ?

Try a cdcopy using nero and see what it says - there is normally a slight delay between telling you the medium is shy of room and asking you if you want to overburn.
