  1. I have paid for and downloaded a divx video on demand file (I think the extension is .tix) which plays on the Divx player. I want to be able to burn it to disk instead of watching it on screen. However, if I try and use TMPGEnc to comvert it, the format isn't recognized. Is there a way around this please??

  3. It's not . '.tix' extension, it is .Divx.

It's one of those downloads that you get to view for a set number of days. Sorry, just me being a stupid newbie! I could have paid a couple of pounds more and got the thing on DVD!

So unless there is a way to get around this (which I know is not within the forum rules), I'll just have to ensure I read things next time before I decide to download!

    Thanks Anyway.

It's outside the rules of the Forum, since it's a rental.
