if you were to make a password 6 to 8 characters long with numbers and letters as the only charcters that could be used, what would be the total number of combinations?

upper and lower case - 221,918,520,426,688 -
BTW, jeex, you could have worked it out yourself by...
lower case + numbers (6-8 characters in length) = 36^6 + 36^7 + 36^8
