PBC & time search on Pioneer DV-343??

Hi!
I an very pleased with my pioneer dv-343 but there is nothing in the manual that tells you how to switch PBC on/off, anyone know?? Is PBC the reason why I get short disturbances in the sound every chapter on DVD? Also, when playing SVCD I just can`t figure out how to get to a specific time on the cd, kind of slow to use the fast forward button. Does anyone know if there is a "goto" or "search" function that works with SVCD?

With Pioneers you have to press stop or something, then play again. I dont know if that right but it is fairly easy to get it to show the time. Just play around with the remote a bit, you'll work it out.

I have a DV-333, so hopefully it's the same. Put the disc in the player and instead of pressing play, press the track forward button. Hopefully that will help.
