I have created an SVCD with multiple audio tracks (one with the film's regular sound, one with commentary) and I am able to switch from one to the next utilizing the "audio" function on the remote of my DVD player. However, I am wondering if there is a way to incorporate a menu feature to select the audio track that is heard, as opposed to pressing the button on the remote....similiar to the way many DVD's have the option to turn commentary ON or OFF in a menu. Then when you did start playing the movie, you would hear whatever audio track you had selected, without worrying about the audio button on the remote. If someone knows a way this is possible, your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I don't think its possible. I think you are left out to select tracks with the audio button.

As stated not possible for SVCDs. You can have multiple audio tracks and multiple subtitle tracks, but you have to manually cycle through them using the remote. Only DVDs support this feature.
However, not all DVD authoring software is can do this. I know that DVD Maestro, Sonic scenarist, Reel DVD, and Adobe Encore can. IIRC DVD Lab does NOT support multiple audio streams (you can work around this, but again no menu with the option). Not sure about TMPG DVD Author.
