  1. I've ALMOST successfully authored all of my mpegs to DVD but I'm having a small problem in TMPGEnc DVD Author. When I play the DVD that I've created, the menu which shows all of the tracks displays for a split second, and then vanishes and the first track starts to play. Has anyone else run into this problem? Anyone know how to fix this?

  2. There are many ways to fix it. The simplest one, probably is to open ifo file with your menu into IfoEdit and set infinite still time for the menu cell.

  3. Hmm, that's strange because the main menu usually doesn't do anything but sit there until you press play. Check your "First Play" options in TMPGEnc DVD Author.

I always test my DVD using PowerDVD before I burn it just to make sure everything is working right.

  4. dimad: I've used ifoedit a few times but I can't seem to find the still time option you're talking about. Could you give more instruction on this?

bigb_y2g: I'm not seeing a First Play option in TMPGEnc.. Where should I look?

    Thanks guys!

When you are at the create menu's stage look to the right, it's just under options.
