Why not just use the copy function in Nero to copy the copy. No need to use DVD Shrink.

try draging and dropping files in Explorer onto your hdd and then burn with your favorite app then if that does not work try DVD Decrypter to rip the unencrypted disk to hdd and if that does not work use smartripper and then if all else fails use dvd shrink version 2.3 to backup a copy uncompressed to your hdd for v3.0 b5 to use but i have a question why do you want to run a copy of your burnt dvdr thru shrink again in the first place see how hard it is to read a post when one does not use punctuations something to consider the next time

  4. I recommend using DVD Decrypter:

    1) Choose mode "iso | read" and rip image to HD
    2) Choose mode "iso | write" select image, then burn to DVDR

Believe it or not your can rip an iso image much faster than just drag/drop the files to your HD. This is the recommended method for backing up all DVD5 discs btw.

However, if you have problems reading the DVD-R you burnt, it's entirely possible that you're using bad quality DVD-R's.

And YES, it might still play just fine. Players (or DVD-ROMs in "playback" mode) are a lot more forgiving than rippers or DVD-ROMs in file copy mode.

To copy a copy, I just use the disk copy option in the software that came with the DVD burner. It came with RecordNow. I'm sure any disk-2-disk copy program will do. If it still doesn't work, try different brand media.
