  1. Hello,

First time I have this problem.
I'm trying to convert a MPEG-2 file to Divx
    I set to MPEG-4 (mencoder)
    I have chosen a high Bitrate (1900 kb/sec) for 2 cd.
With 2 pass encoding. At the end of the encoding, the information of the divx say : 888 kb/sec.
    I have trying a second time with same parameter : 1012 kb/sec.

Dunno why it doens't take the bitrate I said.
I already tried with another file, it works with 2000 kb/sec

The original file take only 90 minutes. But I want a very good quality.

    If someone can help.

    Thx

  2. Which size is the source movie image?

  3. It is a VOB file : 4 GB !

  4. mmmhh.. Got another problem :
Tried the 3 pass encoding for the same file.
Result : 1 file 44 kb and another file in the documents folder named
Frameno.avi : 168 MB. But can only read the sound.
Anything wrong with the 3 pass ?
