  1. I burned some digital video, that I had put on my PC from my DV camera, on to a DVD+R disc using the Windows XP Burning program that comes with the operating system. I put the DV file on the Disc using windows exlporer just like I do when I burn files to a CD-R. When I play the burned DVD on this computer the video comes up fine in Windows Video Player. But When I put it on another XP system with a DVD+R burner it showed the file and when I double clicked it Windows Video Player comes up and shows the file as if it were ready to play the video. But on the bottom of the screen where there should be pictures of the video clips there are big X's over the boxes. What did I do wrong? I am thinking that maybe I just burned the shortcut and not the whole video file. But I thought that when you take the file out of Widows Explorer it was the whole file. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecitated. I need to be able to burn the WHOLE file. And I guess there could be compatability issues but I am not sure. Thanks for any help! Eric.

Don't use the Windows burning program. Use NERO or Record Now.
