  1. I've downloaded a couple of trailers in mpeg for 2 films I have.
I want to join them together then make the joined file run on the menu.

I'd prefer to use dvdlab as I find it quite easy to use and it has the option of animated menu's.
I'd like to know how I do this,do the mpegs need converting to dvd complaint files, would I join them with tmgpeg?

Not fussed about moving buttons but would love to join the trailers of the 2 films and have the audio\video running in the menu.

Thanks in advance for any help offered.
I'm new to making animated menus but experienced in using CCE etc so I ain't a complete newbie with dvd just the menu's.

Read guides on joining vob's, then import vob into DVD-Lab and drag to the menu.

Easy, unless I didn't understand what you wanted.

  3. Thanks for the reply m8,I did as you state and it worked fine..except my buttons don;t work so I can't play the films, guess I forget to send the menu to the background or something.
I'll keep trying and appreciate the help.
To elaborate on what I did,I joined the mpegs with tmpg, ran through windvd creator, imported into dvdlab, which then demuxed the vob for me.

I wrote the titles of the films over the imported video and placed buttons on it and linked them as usual by right clicking and selecting the appropriate movie for each.
It complied ok but when I play the disc the trailers loop(which is what i wanted) but the buttons don't work so I can't watch any of the films!

  4. Buttons don't show on an animated menu the same as they do on a static image. Go to www.mediachance.com and check out the "tips and tricks" section. Look at the tutorial for the first motion menu. It explains what you will need to do to get the buttons/text to display and function correctly.
