Using WinDVR 3.0. It seems that there are some bugs with this program that need to be worked out.
It always captures my first file fine, but any 'overflow' files due to the length of capture, changes the audio settings. I believe the audio track defaults to LPDM from Dolby Digital.
Whatever it is...it does not play nice with TMPGenc. It is not recognised by it. But I know the audio exists. It plays fine in WinDVD and the WinDVR program will even transcode it, so that I can import it into TMPGenc DVD Author. But the transcode program in WinDVR leaves something to be desired.
Anyone know what the easiest, good transcode program for MPEG 2 compliant files would be ? Or is there a plug in that I can use with TMPGenc to have it recognise this audio format? Or any better suggestion you can think of.
WinDVR is a pain but it keeps my old vhs tape in perfect synch... I just wish I could record more than a couple hours before it creates this 2nd file.
