    i want to try DVDshrink....but do not have or want NERO (conflicts with the ROXIO suite), is their an alternative programme to burn the image created by DVDshrink?

  6. what version roxio are you running im running version 6 with all updates and nero with all updates no problems at all witrh either

    Use IMG Tools to make an ISO. Then burn that with Roxio. IMG tools checks to make sure you have your syntax right (VIDEO_TS versus Video_Ts, and automatically adds an AUDIO_TS folder).

    please forgive my newbieness but i have no clue as to how to tell what version of ROXIO i have...only that it was supplied by DELL on the computer that arrived last week....

  9. I use Shrink, and burn the final product with Roxio without a hitch everytime! Roxio version 6 use CD Creator Classic, and select your drive at the bottom, also select your media off to the left (little drop down tab, kinda hard to see), select your files that were created by shrink and burn away.

    I just bought RecordNow Max for $79.00 and found it does not support many newer DVD recorders. Check the Stomp site for a list of suported hard ware, and I found it has not been updated since Dec. 01.

    Stay away from this outdated CD burning software if you are in DVDs.
