    this is the guide that I am following, I have got everything done, and now I am on Step 3: Converting the video to MPEG-2.

    If you read the first paragraph you can either use CCE or TMPG. I am trying to use TMPG, but I dont understand what exactly they want me to do. Which Orange link do I click on and follow?

    click on the words "encode in TMPG"...

  3. OK...but If you go and click that, you see DVD2AVI...which I am not trying to do.....do I still need to load that template? thats what I am confused about why would they have me do that?

    you're right, that is confusing.

    I would suggest checking some of the guides here, like THIS ONE

    then go back to the Doom9 guide after you have a compliant mpeg-2 file.

    You were also told other things too. Ive read your previous posts. Read up on all you can for a week or so. Dont forget to read up on illegal movies as well.
