Remove default subtitles

Hi, I've recently gotten a couple of movies from thailand i wish to backup, and the movies always start with the english subtitles on. is there a way to change the defualt subtitle setting before burning the backup?

Have u tried using DVD Shrink (www.dvdshrink.org). There you can remove which subtitles you like. I havent personally tried this but give it a go and reply here to tell me your outcome.
