    I am running Win XP Home SP1 DX90b. MB is MSI 865PE Neo2 4.6GHz P4 HT 1GM, 40G OS HD and 300G Promise SX4000 RAID5 Video HD. TMPGEnc is V2.521.58.169 (latest) HT is on in the BIOS. When I check HT in TMPGEnc's environmental settings TMPGenc runs to 100% and then unexpectedly closes. With HT unchecked TMPGEnc runs to 100% and remains open. .

    I load the VTSC DVD template and use the default settings and the source is NTSC DV avi. Also, TMPGEnc does not unexpectedly close at the end the encode of every video. There are no alerts posted in the Application Alerts.

    Anyone seen this before?

    send it back its a load of old rubbish (the p4 HT that is)!

    Where did you get the 4.6 CPU? The fastest is 3.2 Ghz.
