    At first this burner was working with out flaw, but more recently Nero wont finish my DVD-R back ups, and when i Burn a CD the buffer seems to be always running out and then just at the last mintue it some back up. Same things happen and i acutally get a burn with DVD Decrypter. Also it'll no longer RIP at higher speeds, even with DSS that i got from sony.

    First thing to look for. Make sure the drive is using DMA mode. IF DMA mode is set, try replacing the IDE cable.

    How would i make sure that it's in DMA mode, and the IDE cable is good, would that matter much
