  1. Does anyone know if there is a dshow filter that manages to stretch audio.
I'm converting Divx/Xvid to vcd and trying to convert its framerate from NTSC to PAL. Because of that the movie is little shorter and the audio becomes unsynchronized.
If i Strech the audio with Cool Edit it works fine. I would like to know if ther is such filter or option in tmpgenc that would do that directly so i wouldn't need to do that seperatly.

  2. AFAIK, You have to do it seperatley.

But are you sure you need to do it at all?
If you are in Europe, the DVD player should handle NTSC disks with no problems and most TV's should handle NTSC too. Give it a try, you might save yourself a heap of work and heartache.

Tell him to buy a new TV and forget about conversion. As bugster said, his DVD player will handle NTSC.
