  1. Hello,

I've just started authoring DVD's and I think I got most of it right.

There is however one thing that I still can't get right.

I want to add subtitles to my DVD's and so far this worked just fine.

I downloaded .srt files and converted them to .sup files using srt2sup.

However, when there are more than one .srt files and I want to join them into 1 .sup file, only the first segment is visible on my standalone.

I found out what the problem is: The .srt files are created for divx movies, and are meant for 2 cd's. The second file has a timecode index that starts at zero again and does not start where the first part ends.

When joining them, the timecode index of the second part stays the same and will not be shown, because this timecode has already passed.

Is there a way to change the timecode index of the second file without having to change each one manually?

  2. Hi,

Use the append function is Srt2Sup:

    1) Open the first SRT file.
    2) Append the second SRT file and set the time offset to where in the film you want the second set of subtitles to appear.

    Regards

    Srt2Sup
