Ripping conveted video file with nero 6

Hi people,

I´m new in in this forum but i learn a lot and in like very much of your tips.
I´me having a problema and i can resolved, my dvd recorder is a MSI DR4-A, i´ve a file converted n avi to dvd, and it´s perfect, but when i´l start burn with nero 6 hi doesn´t let me, he tell´s me the file have 2 gb and it´s to big, to try in UDF format, but when try to see the movie in my dvd player, i ca´n´s, why can i burn in another format, what can i do, plaese help me.
