    Hi all,

I encoded an MPEG at half D1 (352x480) and muxed it with no sound so I have a "DVDA compliant" vid file. The project settings do not allow you to change the frame size...only Full D1 (NTSC 720x480, PAL..same, etc) You can not create a project in HALF D1 resolution so when you go to make your DVD files, it wants to re-encode them to your match your project settings.

Am I missing something here or do I have to re-encode my AVI to 720x480 in order for DVDA to accept these files? (I already have my WAV converted to AC-3)

I like the menu features and flexibility of DVDA, thats why I want to use it as opposed to TMPGenc DVD or DVD Movie Factory 2.

Any insight would be great. If it can't, no big deal, I'd rather give up a litte picture quality and still use it.
(I'm transferring VHS to DVD, that's why I was going for half D1)

Forget. I found out it only supports full D1.
