  1. Hi, I have an SVCD which spans across 2 CDs. I wanted to make it onto a single DVD, so I thought I would open the .bin files and extract the MPG file, join it and convert it to DVD structure. But either part 1 or 2 of the MPG files will not play, but plays on my DVD Player on my TV, I used mplayerc and that gives off two errors:

    Stream 0

When I try to open the file in VirtualDub I get this error:

MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error.

I installed Nemo codec pack, and It still didn't play so I removed it.

    What do you guys think?

    thanks for the help...

Tried a Mpeg2 codec ? or PowerDVD or WinDVD?

Virtualdub can't open mpeg2/svcd, virtualdubmod or virtualdubmpeg2 can.

  3. thanks for your reply, I can now open the file with Media Player but it stutters along and the picture and sound are scrambled. In PowerDVD I get "DVD-Video playback graph could not be built due to insufficient decoders." and I have installed the codec.
