  1. Whats the best way to convert dvd9 to dvd5 so that you have th maximum quality? There are so many ways listed but which do you guys recommend?

    Since I bought my Pioneer A06 I have used DVD Shrink to backup my "owned" movies. DVD Shrink is FREEWARE and available from:

    www.dvdshrink.org

    DVD Shrink is decent, but if you are looking for the best video quality get DVD Decrypter (freeware) to rip, and InstantCopy 8, to squeeze and burn. At about $35 online it's just about free.

    The 'Best' way is beyond your skill set, and very time consuming.

    There are dozens of ways to do it.
