  1. Hi,

Does anybody know how I can easily rip a specific title from a DVD? I want to rip a few Dolby/DTS/THX trailers and whack them on a DVD-R- but I really haven't got a clue how to extract the right title that I want (an example is title 10, chapter 01 on Star Wars Episode II- the THX trailer).

There are a lot of guides on here- but none of them seem to cater for what I want to do. I've been using DVDEncryptor, TMPGEnc DVD Author (which doesn't support DTS, so I can't use this) and DVD2ONE for other projects with no problems- but this has me stumped, and any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

    use DVDDecrypter in IFO mode

all you need to do is look for the PGC that contains the stuff you want

  3. Hi PaulStation

This is what I do for achieving the same objective.

Rip the files in DVD Decrypter. Open the files in DVD Shrink. Click the Reauthor button. View the scenes manually which you want using the Start/End functionality. Bingo, you have the necessary file to back up. Once you have all the files necessary from different discs, burn them to a DVD.

If there is a faster way to do this, please share the info.

    Hope this helps.

a faster way would be just to rip the trailer title direct using DVDShrink instead of ripping the whole DVD
