  1. Ran a AVI file through AVI2VCD with TMPGEnc with no apparent problems now I can't get NeroExpress to burn it. Can anyone lead me through it. Also tried Daemontools but am definitely missing something in how to use that program. Am a newbie so talk down to me

  2. You are probably trying to burn a MPEG file that after conversion from AVI is not 100% compliant with the VCD or SVCD standard for bitrate and size. You cannot use the Nero Express front-end for this as it does not let you over-ride the compliance check. Use the standard Nero interface and when you select VCD or SVCD -- from the "New Compilation" box uncheck the "Create standard compliant CD" option.

Give it a shot as that should do it. Even if the Nero created VCD or SVCD is non-compliant, it should play all PC's and most relatively current stand-alone DVD players.

    Good luck !!

  4. one point to remember.. NERO does not come with the option to burn svcd/vcd in the basic package... so some poor suckers may be looking around and thinking ehhh?? In fact I think when it is bundled with a cd-burner it does not have that option, or it might be dependent on who you bought the cd-burner from??
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.
