  1. Hi,

I have some MP3 songs on my Computer. I copied onto a CD-R using Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.0 and trying to play on my SONY DVD PLayer Model (DVP-NS755V).

It plays some MP3 songs and some it skips giving "Data error" on TV.
and Also sometimes it shows same song broken into multiple times on the screen. The same CD-R plays perfectly on other brand dvd player.

COuld anyone tell me what is the problem and how to fix it. Is there something worng with MP3 decoder of the DVD player or MP3 files must meet some spec.

    I really appreciate your inputs.

    Thank you in advance.

Says it all. Analyse songs that don't play. I bet they are either poorly encoded or VBR. It's your player, there's not much you can do about it if they all play on your PC and a different player.
