The CyberLink Powerdvd 5 has a feature called CyberLink Plano Vision.
The aim of this handy sw is that you can view and enjoy 16:9 material on a 4:3 set without loosing data . ( it doesnt crop, it doesnt shrink) and you can watch the movie in full screen.
As i understood it uses linersar shrinking ( makes it anamorphic) by the edge of the picture, while keeping the mid section of the picture ( where the important thigs happen ) untouched.
OK, now how use this " device" in conventional conversions?
I'm mostly interested in 4:3 video conversions from any source mainly using vdub, cce and premiere. If anyone has a clue how to ( where from) obtain a vdub pluging for this task please contact me.
