DVD SHRINK 3.0 Beta 5 Problem!

Hi ,
I never had a problem with this progrm. I burnd about 150 dvds using Shirnk. Until i was trying to Burn The Recruit. This Dvd disk has no scratchs . I even try to unlock by playing in Power DvD and puse it. and nothing The shrink can not even Anlysing it! It gives me this message

DVD Shrink encountered an error and can not continue
The error is:
Faild to open the file
the reason :can not find the file file specfied.

I tried open the dvd manually by opening the file vts_01_0
and i got the same message
I tried open the dvd under file mode it gives me this message:

Programing error impossible program state occurred
the reason : is unknown

I could burn the same movie using DVD Decrypter! Can someone help me on this please?
I use windows XP service pack 1
Poineer 106D up to date firmware "Reigon free"

Rip ALL the files with DVDdecryptor in file mode to your hard drive.
Then open VIDEO_TS.IFO with shrink

the quiestion is why this happned ? i wanna know the reason behind that!

Why does Shrink occasionaly give me 2 main titles? The 4 GB one and a 20 MB scene.

It's Beta still, it has a few bugs. My guess is it simply failed the brute force crack. Re-boot and try it again. I've had it go in the crapper after 5 or 6 DVD's, it got squirrley despite closing and re-starting it.

I restarted the PC and no help still giving me the same error! Any other ideas?

Use DVDDecrypter in File mode to rip all the files. Then open with DVDShrink.

I have already did that before posting my problem. I wanna know the reason why DVD SHRINK doesnt open some movies? Is it my Poineer 106D or my PC?

Best way to find out is try dvdshrink on another computer with the same dvd or try another dvd reader.Then you will know if its your system or dvd device thats faulty.

If it was a device or system falls. Why DVD Decrypter, and DVDXCOPY XPRESS Could burn the movie with no problems?

jeddah_superstar, my guess would be DVD Shrink is very picky about the authoring of original DVDs, more so than DVD Decrypter and DVDXcopy.
It's not surprising considering its re-authoring features.

I had a similar problem, used Smart Ripper, ripped ALL the files to the hard drive, and then used Shrink!.

Best piece of of software I have used in a long time!.

So i guess i can not fully depend on DVD SHRINK all the time.
or mabey it is still Beta virsion . !!
