    i have dl several video files. i have all the codec that i know about and i still can't play the video's. on the WMP statics bar it shows that the video is running but there is no audio or video. please help. i ran a AVIcodec to determine if my program supports the file and it says it does. i am toally confused....

    maybe it is a black video --- check your source for more info

    LOL, A black video.
    Fake files is a unit out there hired by certain entities to thwart certain downloaders from certain areas. You may have got one.
