    I need to combine (append) several avi files to make on continous avi file. What program in Mac OSX format does this?

    Can Imovie handle this import?

    Under TOOLS you have two browse options, load 1 into 1st, other into 2nd and click JOIN

    but i have not actually test it myself since ffmpegx works for me.
