  1. Hi all.
Heres what what I'm trying to do.
I have captured & edited in VideoStudio 7, I then want to encode video only via videotools Ulead plugin through TMPGenc. That part is no problem.
However I also want to use besweet to convert AVI to AC3, so that I can mux the AC3 & TMPGenc MPEG2
When I try to I keep getting this error message.

    BeSweet v1.5b17 by DSPguru.
    --------------------------
    Error 58: Error : Unknown Input-File Format : "f:\besweet audio test\besweet test.avi".

I have used this link to set up besweet:

I don't want to save the file created in videostudio as an AVI due to the time.
Anybody know how to do this.

BeSweet doesn't take video as an input.

Try AVI2WAV to strip out the audio. You can also use VDUB to de-mux if it's ac3 (need ac3fix to correct the header).

  3. I thought that Besweet would stip the audio from an AVI file. I am aware that BeSweet does not take video as an input.
What is wierd though is that there is an option to convert AVI to AC3.
