    Any info on this model. Found the website of the company. It's in Canada (www.venturer.com), No mention of the model. As a matter of fact notmuch information at all. If anyone has bought this model. Please give it's pros and cons before I purchase.

    I am also looking for some infomation on the venture svp-7330
    I bought the norcet dp 300 from walmat canada, put them on layaway and today was told they were recalled so my dp300's were being replaced with this Venture svp 7330
    I can't find andy info on this dvd player
    Ventures home page was useless..

    Can anyone please help

    i test it for couple minutes, here is what i found:

    - does NOT play any VCD, SVCD, CVD, XVCD, cDVD
    - pauses between tracks on CDDA for annoying split of the second
    - plays only Region 0 and Region 1 DVDs
    - doesnt convert PAL>NTSC DVDs (if your PAL DVD is R0)
    - plays MP3 off CD-R (64-320kbps tested, both CBR/VBR)
    - plays DVD-R and DVD+R movies (DVD-Video)

    other features:
    - supposedly plays Kodak PictureCDs (I didnt have any to test)
    - supposedly plays JPEGs off CD-R (but it didnt play them off my CD-RW, but perhaps it was because it is packet writing formatted disc)
