If I encode a SVCD to DVD using DVD-Lab does it convert it into a TRUE DVD Format and not a SVCD-DVD?
If not, Do I need to change the files first then use DVD-LAB to convert to DVD?
I am looking for a way to make a TRUE DVDR!!!!!

DVDLab does not have an encoding engine. It encodes nothing. If you insert mpeg2 480x480 it will author a pseudo DVD disc, not a full standards DVD. This will only play on (some) players that support SVCD discs in the first place.
If you really want to convert the SVCD to DVD then you must re-encode. I suggest TMPGEnc it is very good at re-encoding SVCD video. -
What about just patching the whole file instead of re-encoding it?
Is there anything quicker than TMPEGEnc like Mpeg Encoder by mainconceptWhy are the best things things in life cost the most money?
