    does anyone know a simple dvd authoring program that lets me choose the audio and video sepperatly? in the form of avis and wavs

    since avi isn't a dvd-ready format, you either need to convert it to mpeg-2 before authoring (preferred) or find an authoring app that will convert it for you.

    DVD Lab will accept legal dvd streams (mpeg, m2v, mp2, ac3, wav).
