  1. Does anyone know where I can get sound effects from the movie Predator (1 or 2, it really doesn't matter)? I looked online for some soundboard, but no luck (it was a long shot anyway). I'm thinking of 2 ways i can get the sounds...
    1. Rip from the DVD - but this will leave some music behind the sounds, which I don't want.
    2. Rip from one of the video games (Alien vs. Predator 1 or 2). Unfortunately, I don't know how I can do this.

Does anyone know where I can find some of the sound effects, or tell me how to get the sounds from the game?

    Thanks.

If the game has an audio out plug, you can connect it to line in mic in on your PC and record it with Gold Wave.

  3. Unfortunately, the game is on PC, so I can't connect the video game system directly to the computer.
    Nice idea though.

Well, you can always run your speaker audio into your mic input and record the mic input.

  5. Ok, so I could just plug my speaker output into the "mic in" and it should work? Would using the simple Windows Sound Recorder do the job?

  6. are the predator games on any of the cartridge consoles? because if so you could use an emulator to run the rom and do a wav output and get your sound effects that way.

  7. Do you have any sound recording software?

Simple as can be, get a cable with the mini din pin on both ends, plug one into your speaker jack, the other to your sound card line in, play sound, record sound

Also you could even get a double plug for the speaker jack so your speakers are still connected so you can hear what you are recording

Should cost maybe $5 for a double plug and cable to do this, maybe less.
Not sure what I paid for mine. Wallmart or K-mart should have it, if not Radio shack does.

One just came out for Playstation 2 and XboX (AvP Extinction, i think). Don't think there's any really good PS2 Emulators though. Running from a video game system or emulator is probably out of reach. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Yeah, that sounds kind of like what was mentioned in some of the above posts. I'll probably end up going with that.

    Thanks for the help!
